Why Attend OSSC2024?
The Oxford Synthesis Summer Conference 2024 is a national student-led conference aimed at graduate synthetic chemistry students. During 2 days, delegates will have the opportunity to meet and listen to talks from some of the most inspirational and influential minds in chemistry.
Our new and innovative programme features “Research Journey” talks, where acclaimed chemists tell stories behind their research and what led them to where they are today. Selected delegates will have the opportunity to showcase their research in a two-minute “Rapid-Fire” presentation, as well as discuss their work and network with like-minded graduate synthetic chemistry students during the Poster Session and Drinks Reception on Day 1.
CONFERENCE REGISTRATION
Registration for the Oxford Synthesis Summer Conference 2024 is now open!
The registration fee includes access to all conference sessions, wine reception on Day 1 and lunch on Day 2, as well as access to the OSSC24 programme and electronic abstract booklet.
- Early-bird registration fee: £20 (until 14th May 2024)
- Late registration fee: £25 (until 9th July 2024)

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Graduate synthetic chemistry students are encouraged to submit an abstract of their work (deadline 17th May 2024). Selected abstracts will be chosen for Poster Presentations with the possibility of a Rapid-Fire talk. Prizes will be awarded to the best presentations!
To submit an abstract, please adhere to the template and send to the OSSC24 team via email below (please include your home institution, supervisor(s) and year of study in the email).
Selected abstracts will be notified within 2-4 weeks of the closing date.
