RAPID-FIRE TALKS

Selected student delegates will be presenting an overview of their poster in just 2 minutes. Each talk should serve only as a way to publicise a specific poster, and encourage delegates to come and find out more about each speaker’s work. A prize will be awarded for the best speaker!

Guidelines:

  • Duration: strictly 2-minute long
  • Slides: 1 slide only
  • The talk should not be a rushed presentation of your entire poster

Recommended talk structure:

  • Highlight the background of your project (why are you carrying out this particular project)
  • Highlight the ‘grand idea' of your project (what you hope to achieve/have achieved)
  • Highlight key results/conclusion

POSTER SESSION

All graduate student delegates are encouraged to submit an abstract of their work. Selected abstracts will be invited for poster presentations, to promote discussion and networking between young researchers. Prizes will be awarded for the best posters!

PANEL DISCUSSION

A round-table discussion with attending experts will be a valuable opportunity to debate and share ideas about current challenges in the field of synthetic chemistry.
